Sun Enterprises was established in 1986 with a clear focus on science-driven solutions and practical innovation. Founded by Mr. Chandrakant Jogdand, the Proprietor of the company, Sun Enterprises reflects the founder’s strong academic and professional foundation.

A B.Sc. graduate in Chemistry from Pune University, Mr. Jogdand further strengthened his expertise with a D.Pharm qualification and an MBA in Marketing, creating a rare blend of technical knowledge and market insight.

The company offers both “waterless” hand wash gel and “water-based” hand wash spray/liquid, designed to safely, easily, and effectively clean hands heavily soiled with dirt, dust, soot, oils, grease, grime, wet paints, enamels, varnishes, printing inks, and more.

The waterless gel, marketed as Jo Lee’s, and the spray/liquid variant, known as Soilex, are formulated without corrosive caustic soda or carcinogenic petroleum solvents such as kerosene, turpentine, and xylene. This makes them significantly safer for regular industrial use compared to many conventional alternatives.

Beyond powerful cleaning action, both Jo Lee’s and Soilex are enriched with premium emollients including cream, lanolin, glycerine, and propylene glycol. These ingredients help condition rough, overworked hands, maintaining skin softness even with frequent use.

Jo Lee’s is termed “waterless” as it requires no water either before or after application; hands can simply be wiped clean with cotton waste or a rag. Importantly, both products are tested in ISO-certified laboratories to ensure skin safety. In performance comparisons, they have been found to outperform several similar products manufactured in developed countries.
