Our cover story features two of the prominent personalities in the design world, Swapna Battul, Proprietor of Taarank - Interior Design Studio, Pune and award-winning architect, David Chipperfield, Founder of David Chipperfield Architects. Chipperfield received the Pritzker Architecture Prize for 2023. This is one of the highest honors in architecture, was appreciated for his minimalist designs that balance history and contemporaneity and work to reinvigorate cities. Swapna’s tryst with interior design began with a small two bedroom-hall-kitchen apartment which she designed for one of her friends. She gave her best to the project and became a celebrity even before she realized it!
